The Furry 5k raises money for the Help the Animals Fund (HTAF), which provides veterinary care and supplies for sick, injured or abused orphaned shelter animals. The Seattle Animal Shelter takes in nearly 8,000 animals annually. Of those, many receive the lifesaving care they need thanks to the generous donations of individuals and companies. The HTAF is an integral part of saving lives – with annual veterinary expenses of approximately $100,000, every dollar raised counts!
Donations and Pledges can be made using the online donation and pledge form.
Please donate an additional amount to the Help the Animals Fund when you register for the Furry 5K this year!
Encourage friends and family who may not be able to attend the race, to donate to this exceptionally worthy cause!
Ask if your company has a matching gift program!
Collect Pledges! Registering is the first step in helping the animals. To make an even bigger impact, we encourage you collect pledges from your family, friends and colleagues. If every participant collected just one $25 pledge, we’d raise another $75,000! Think of all the lives that could save.
Don’t forget to talk to your company and your pledgers company’s about matching donations!
