Hector is a rescue dog who had a rough start in life. Through the efforts of caring animal rescuers, he got a second chance and is currently living his best life here in Seattle! Your contributions help give other adoptable pets an opportunity to thrive in a loving home environment. Please help us in our efforts to assist the Seattle Animal Shelter. Every donation will help improve the lives of animals in our community.

In 2024, the Seattle Animal Shelter:
- Provided over 1,500 potentially life-saving vaccines to pets through its free, community pet
vaccination clinics. - Placed over 1,600 pets with loving homes.
- Completed over 2,300 medical procedures for pets, including spay and neuter services to over
1,180 pets. - Investigated over 1,000 cases of animal cruelty, neglect or abuse.
- Has a dedicated team of over 800 active community volunteers including fosters.
